HOTEL RESOL MACHIDA regularly hosts music events where professional artists perform at the hotel.

The event is open to not only hotel guests, but also to people living in Machida. We have put a lot of effort into making it possible for both hotel guests and Machida residents to enjoy music casually.

Enjoy music in a way that suits you

The music events were started in June 2024, inspired by the staff's desire to make music more accessible to guests at the hotel. Music is played by artists based in Machida, with a variety of instruments such as violins, clarinets, and vocals playing on different days.

A major feature of the event is that a wide variety of songs are played regardless of genre. From famous standard jazz songs to Western music made famous in commercials and movies, to nostalgic J-POP. In between songs, the artists will explain the background of the songs, so you can enjoy them easily even if you are not familiar with the songs.

Listen to the music and reminisce about old memories, share them with loved ones, enjoy new encounters with good old songs, or listen to the music while you wait to check in. This is an event that can be enjoyed in a variety of ways to suit your mood.

Take a deep breath while surrounded by music

When the music events first started, they were held casually as background music in the hotel, but gradually more people started participating, and now it has become a lively time with a mix of locals and guests. Some guests even come to ask about the next schedule, and some even stay overnight to attend the live performances.

Shoko Yamamoto, who has been on stage since the event began, said, "The number of people listening to us has gradually increased, and now it's like a mini-live concert, which makes me happy." The event also offers a free drink service to participants, so you can enjoy the music with your favorite drink in hand.

When you travel or go on a business trip to an unfamiliar place, you may unconsciously tense up and become tired. At such times, we hope that listening to calming music will give you an opportunity to take a deep breath. With this in mind, we deliver music that gives you a sense of warmth.
