HOTEL RESOL SASEBO is currently holding a weekday-only "Rooftop Tour" for guests staying at the hotel.

The former Imperial Japanese Navy inspected Sasebo in order to station its navy on the west coast of Kyushu. It is said that they fell in love with the beauty of Sasebo Port at first sight and opened the Sasebo Naval District in 1889. Sasebo, which was originally a small village, developed as a naval port town, and is now loved as a town full of history and exotic atmosphere.

If you would like to participate in the "Rooftop Tour," please come to the hotel's restaurant, "Bon Sa Boule," at 4:30 p.m. You will be guided by a staff member for about 15 minutes on a special tour to the rooftop, which is normally off-limits to the public. If you're lucky, you may even come across a Maritime Self-Defense Force escort ship or a luxury cruise ship.
