Komatsu Matere combines the artisan techniques it has cultivated over the 80 years since its founding with the historic culture of Ishikawa Prefecture, where the company was founded, to develop a variety of products that will brighten up your everyday life.

The Higashi Chaya District store "Matere" has about 100 items, mainly fashion and lifestyle goods. "Matere" is not just a souvenir shop, but is operated as a store to promote "Komatsu Matere" as a company.

"Tennin no Hagoromo" are shawls and scarves made from an extremely thin material woven with threads that are about one-fifth the thickness of a human hair. As these products can only be purchased at "Matere", they attract die-hard fans from all over the country.

"Green Bis" is a special material made from recycled waste generated during the dyeing process.

Greenbiz, which features excellent insulation, water permeability, breathability, and water retention, is an advanced material that is also attracting attention as a paving block and soil improvement material for fields. The interior made using this feature is "g-cube x Kutani ware", an incense that does not use fire or electricity.
