To coincide with Butterfly Pea Day on August 18th, HOTEL RESOL TRINITY NAHA will be holding a limited-time event where guests can enjoy Okinawan-grown butterfly pea flowers.

Butterfly pea is a herb plant whose Japanese name is "chōmame" (butterfly bean), and it is called "butterfly pea" because it produces blue flowers that resemble butterflies.
It has the property of changing from blue to purple when acid such as lemon is added, and its beautiful appearance has attracted attention.
Beyond its aesthetic appeal, it is attracting attention for its high content of the antioxidant polyphenol "anthocyanin," which provides anti-aging effects due to its strong antioxidant properties, as well as its ability to prevent eye strain by improving blood circulation.

In Okinawa Prefecture, butterfly pea is attracting attention as a local product, and this time, a collaboration has been realized with Butterfly Pea Research Institute Co., Ltd., which aims to create a sustainable community through agricultural development, regional revitalization, and environmental conservation by industrializing butterfly pea in Okinawa Prefecture.

The hotel's "BLUE BOOKS CAFE" will be selling original drinks made with butterfly pea flower.
Two limited-edition drinks are available: Twilight Blue and Aurora Lemonade. The lemonade utilizes the unique characteristic of butterfly pea flower, which changes color from blue to purple when lemon is added, resulting in a drink that can be enjoyed not only for its taste but also for its changing color.
