From Friday, June 20th to Monday, July 7th, 2025, all 20 RESOL HOTELS will be holding a limited-time event themed on the traditional Japanese festival of Tanabata. In the lobby and entrance of each hotel, guests will be provided with bamboo decorations that are different for each hotel, as well as strips of paper on which they can write their wishes. Guests can write their wishes on the strips of paper and enjoy decorating them.

Tanabata events held at 20 locations nationwide

This Tanabata event will be held at 20 RESOL HOTEL across the country. The Tanabata decorations displayed during the event will be different for each hotel, so you can enjoy the differences in the decorations at each hotel.

A paper strip made from domestic bamboo

The strips of paper on which you write your wishes are made from bamboo paper made from domestically grown bamboo. This bamboo paper is made from 100% domestic bamboo with the aim of preserving the country's Satoyama forests. It also contributes to environmental conservation in Japan.

Send your wishes to the heavens. Donate your tanzaku to Osaki Hachimangu Shrine in Sendai.

After the event, the wishes you have made will be dedicated to Osaki Hachimangu Shrine in Sendai, which is famous for its Tanabata Festival. You will be asked to pray for the fulfillment of your wishes at Osaki Hachimangu Shrine.
