Nakayama talks about the beginning of "toumei" as follows:

"Our origins lie in the contract manufacturing and sale of simple fixtures to enhance a space. But we started "toumei" about 10 years ago to expand the possibilities of acrylic resin and develop original products that offer a richer lifestyle."

"At "toumei", we have a group of creative people, and each person's ideas are reflected in the products. If the sales staff learn the skills, they can also get involved in the production in the store. Regardless of their role, everyone can come up with ideas and be involved in the planning and manufacturing process, which may be what supports us."
