Kyoto is enveloped in the crisp winter air in the early morning hours. HOTEL RESOL TRINITY KYOTO will be hosting "MORNING YOGA" every Tuesday and Friday from January 6th to March 31st, 2026. This 25-minute mindfulness experience will slowly awaken your body from a deep sleep.

This event will feature a yoga instructor from Terrace Yoga, a studio in Kyoto City, and is open to all hotel guests. Yoga mats will be provided, so all you need to do is change into comfortable clothing and you're ready to go. It's a special moment to start your day off healthy while traveling.

The city of Kyoto is full of encounters that stimulate curiosity. The purpose of MORNING YOGA is to reduce fatigue in a healthy way by deliberately facing your mind and body in between such fulfilling moments.

The yoga session, held in the hotel lobby with the morning light streaming in, begins with closing your eyes and taking deep, quiet breaths. Feel the weight of your body on the mat and focus your attention on the present moment.

As you breathe and gradually release the stiffness in your body, you will feel a warmth spreading from within and a sense of gradually shifting into active mode. Although it is a short 25-minute session, by the end you will feel as if your five senses have been sharpened.

By deepening your breathing, which tends to become shallow due to the excitement of traveling, you will fill your body with energy and be ready to step out into the city of Kyoto with a renewed sense of purpose.

The instructor is Naoko, who is an instructor at the Kyoto City studio "Terrace Yoga." Wanting to learn more about yoga philosophy and teachings, she traveled to India, the birthplace of yoga, to obtain certification.

Naoko says that she used to be overwhelmed by the waves of her emotions and would overthink things, but after studying in India, she gained the perspective to "observe myself as I am without judging myself," which has made a difference in her daily life.

At this event, we carefully observe the physical and mental state of participants and provide yoga while updating the content.

"Even during a packed trip, I hope that people will take the time to reflect on how their mind and body are feeling. I hope that the quiet time will provide a 'reset time' that will allow them to calm down and start their day again."
