Skincare products from a horse oil specialty store

The store was produced by Yokohama Bayu Shoten, a specialty shop for horse sashimi and horse oil that has been in business in Yokohama Motomachi for about 30 years. Horse oil has long been used for a wide range of purposes, such as treating burns and cuts. Rather than discarding the horse oil that is obtained during the processing of horse meat, the desire to deliver horse oil to people who have skin problems led to the creation of a skincare brand using horse oil about 10 years ago.

With his smooth, beautiful skin and gentle smile, former sumo wrestler Fumiya Ounosho, who started his second career at "Yokohama Horse Oil Store" after retiring from sumo, shared the appeal of horse oil with us. He said that he had sensitive skin and was constantly getting cuts and scrapes during his active career, and that using horse oil had an immediate effect. Now, his whole family uses it, and even his child, who had atopic dermatitis, can use it with peace of mind.

Product testers are available in the store, allowing you to try before you buy. The bottled horse oil pictured is a high-quality 100% horse oil product with no additives whatsoever. Put a rice-grain-sized amount on your hand, rub it in a little, and then apply lotion. It absorbs instantly, has no scent or stickiness, and leaves your skin feeling moist and smooth.

The shop's top recommendation is the "Horse Oil Multi Balm." It feels a little firm when you take it in your hand, but it transforms into an oil with body heat and blends perfectly into the skin. It can be used not only as a hand cream or lip balm, but also on the face, hair, and all over the body—truly a multi-purpose product. It comes in a 20g aluminum tin, making it convenient to carry around. In addition to the unscented version, it is also available with essential oils such as lavender and cypress, so you can try the scents before choosing.

Simply choose the type of balm, send the image you want to design via LINE, and they'll print it out for you. The finished product will be ready in 40 minutes to an hour.

During the interview, we ordered a design featuring a table bell, symbolizing the service coordinators at RESOL HOTELS. The chic gray and white logo was printed clearly.
