All the original goods on display in the store are handmade by artisans. There are dozens of different designs on display, including purses, handkerchiefs, pouches, and socks that are all made in Japan.

He often discusses with customers what to choose, with some saying, "Maybe it would be better to have more patterns of the Red Brick Warehouse..." and others saying, "No, the one with the Ferris wheel in it would be cute too."

During the interview, there was a moment when the staff chatted with customers as they picked up the products and discussed which one to buy. They said that they want customers to take their time to look at the products that have been handcrafted, and that they also want the selection process to be a memory to take home with them.

"We had a customer who had previously visited our store several times call us and say that she was moving and wouldn't be able to come for a while. She called us because she wanted to talk to us again. It made us very happy to know that she liked not only our products but our store as a whole."

Furuya says he tells his staff to "value enjoying conversations with customers." He often chooses products while chatting with customers about where they've been sightseeing, or who they would like to give souvenirs to. Warm laughter can be heard from time to time inside the store.
